An Article About a Jump Rope

This is a jump rope.

Some call it a speed rope.

It was designed for people who jump over ropes. fast.

Some people call that training. We do too.

We decided to make our own.

Not because the world needed another one.

But because the ones we tried weren't ours.

So we made this.

It is made from materials.

Those materials are shaped into handles.

The handles have bearings inside them.

The bearings spin.

The spin makes the rope go around.

This allows the user to jump over it.

Handle Facts

  • 147 millimetres long

  • 16 millimetres in diameter

  • 52.5 grams per handle

  • Machined from aluminium

  • Anodised in a colour that is grey, but also kind of shiny

  • Has a logo on it. It is small. You cannot peel it off.

There is knurling.

It helps your hands not slip off.

This is useful when sweating, which is common during use.

Bearings

They are sealed.

They spin smoothly.

They do not make noise.

This is seen as a positive feature.

Cables

There are two.

One is pink.

One is silver.

They weigh different amounts.

Some people care about this. Others don’t.

Either way, you get both.

They are made of coated steel.

They stay mostly straight.

They do not enjoy being kinked.

If you mistreat them, they will remember.

Assembly

Use the included allen key.

Adjust & Cut cable. Tighten screw.

Jump.

If you need help, read the instructions.

If you still need help, ask someone else.

Conclusion

This is a jump rope.

It does not promise anything it cannot deliver.

It will not make you fitter by itself.

That part is still up to you.

We like using it.

You might like it too.
